Rowe Group, through our Senior Planner, Daniel Hollingworth, is pleased to have assisted Cedar Woods in preparing and progressing a Local Development Plan and concurrent Development Application, which were both recently approved by the Subiaco Land Redevelopment Committee of DevelopmentWA.

The Local Development Plan provides a flexible planning framework, facilitating residential development in a variety of built form outcomes and typologies at varying scales throughout the site.

The Local Development Plan integrates public amenities into the site through the widening of Greenwood Lane, landscaping to existing residential interfaces and the ceding of Public Open Space, an internal road network and a Public Access Way, all of which build on the existing movement network.

Progressed concurrently, Cedar Woods received Development Approval for the construction of 41 townhouses and the delivery of all public amenities. The approved townhouses vary in size and form targeting a wide demographic, which together with the high-quality Public Open Space, build on the character of the existing residential development and public amenities that are provided through the Subiaco area.
