The cinema will be approximately 6,200m2 and located above the Level 2 parking area adjacent to Karrinyup Road.
The amended development application also included an additional 2.686m2 of retail floorspace at ground level and Level 1 over the old Bankwest site adjacent to Davenport Street and modifications throughout the parking areas.
Rowe Group’s expertise and understanding of SPP 4.2, negotiation capabilities and relationship with the Department of Planning resulted in the planning approval being issued prior to the adoption of the Activity Centre Structure Plan.
With the latest planning approval, AMP and UniSuper are keen to get the redevelopment under way as soon as possible. Construction will likely commence at the end of 2017.
