Representing an investment of in excess of $150 million, the development comprises five inter-related buildings, which will accommodate a Medi-Hotel, Hotel, Aged Care, Supermarket, Cafes / Restaurants, Gym, Child Care, other medical related tenants and Residential. The development is centred around a communal square which is expected to become a well-used and vibrant space. Designed by Hassell Architects the proposal received praise from both the Design Review Panel and the JDAP Panel. The development will complement the existing Fiona Stanley and St John of God Hospitals, Murdoch University and will benefit from the nearby South St Train Station and bus networks. It is expected that the additional activity associated with the approved development will attract other investment to the centre.
