Cost of Development: $20 million

Location: Rivervale

Rowe Group was appointed to assist in managing the building construction part way through the project and at a point where a number of contractual disputes had arisen. Entering into a project part way through construction presented a number of challenges which required auditing of completed works, reviewing scopes and interviewing past and present contractors and consultants. Rowe Group developed new work briefs and packages together with the Client; identified outstanding works; prepared feasibilities; undertook contract negotiation and administration; identified and managed defects; and finally confirmed practical completion. The completed product is now an iconic building along Great Eastern Highway with major tenants, new residential occupiers and improved access / egress.

Rowe Group also managed the land tenure process arrangements, which included agreements being reached to close and acquire a Class “A” recreation reserve; close and realign Tanunda Drive; and cede and seek compensation for the widening of Great Eastern Highway. Rowe Group also managed the strata titling process of the built form, which included managing parking allocations, unit entitlement arrangements, after hours sharing of car bays and cross easements on a complicated mixed use strata development.
