Rowe Group introduced a number of processes to ensure that consultants performed to optimum levels, acheiving delivery of the base build as well as new tenancy construction requirements (which were constantly evolving). In a heated building market, working closely and supporting the builder with these improved systems allowed them to minimise down time and ensure greater continuity of subcontractor trades.

Rowe Group was also required to audit all costs on an ongoing basis to manage variations to budget.

Rowe Group’s understanding of architecture, built form process and contractual responsibilities meant that the project team was able to handle any queries, which otherwise may have delayed the process.

The project team, in being able to minimise assessment and variation delays, strongly contributed to the project timeframes being achieved. The stages under the control of Rowe Group were completed on time and on budget.

The refurbishment increased the Centre’s size by approximately 40% and has been widely praised for its aesthetic form and overall revitalisation of the Rockingham Shopping Precinct.
